It's hard to believe, but the new Bimini top was really finished around mid-week. To make the transport of this great piece easier we loaded it onto a motorboat in the wharf. With that we pulled up alongside SILVER BLUE, and, using a mast we moved it to its new place. There's still work to do on it during the following few days finishing touch is only given on Saturday, just before we left, but the top was worth the trouble.

On Saturday around noon we finally leave Cartagena, after countless (and tearful) good-byes (of course almost all of Luznelas family came), setting sail heading towards Panama.
It's very relieving to finally be able to continue our journey. We don't have much wind, but countless visits from dolphins and even a bird stops by.
Our arrival at Cristobal, where the entrance to the Panama Canal is, is planned for Monday. You can read a full report about the transit into the canal here, next week, if you like …

Until then, take care!
