| Since Huahine really is so beautiful we decided to stay for
the rest of the week. The island is just too enchanting and still
so natural.
We've anchored at the beautiful beach of Haarimea where we always
take the babies to splash around in the late afternoon, and where
we enjoy a small "sundowner" at a nice bar. The people
there are very friendly and as we ask where we could buy some
fresh fruit they hand us two bunches of bananas as gifts.

We enjoy the days here and it also is a good spot to get some of the
last unfinished things done to the ship. And Nela spends those moments
when our little sailor sleeps to paddle around a bit.
At the end of the week we return to the main village Fare. We occupy
a great viewing spot - a fun regatta from Raiatea to Huahine and Tahaa
has a stopover at our anchoring spot. It's quite a lot of fun, especially
since some of our friends are also participating and about 30 ships
suddenly visit our tranquil anchoring spot.
On Sunday we start returning to Raiatea and a nice soft breeze
with beautiful sunshine make a magnificent day for sailing.
In the lagoon, on our way to the anchoring site, we come across
a weird kind of housing - someone really set up camp on a reef.
Well, they'll definitely not have any problems with neighbors
…
Next week there'll be more from Raiatea and Tahaa.
Until then ... take care!
Tom, Nela & Antoine
